The Council of Deans of the University of Jordan, headed by Dr. Nathir Obeidat, decided to name Prof. Mohammad S. Mubarak as an honorary professor in the Department of Chemistry at the School of Science.
Mubarak was named an honorary professor at the university due to his distinguished academic and research record, as he previously published and supervised a large number of research and research projects, won a set of international and local awards, and received various certificates of appreciation. Prof. Mubarak has published 360 research papers in international refereed scientific journals, and supervised 40 master's and doctoral theses. During his service, he received the Highly Cited Researcher Certificate for the years 2022 and 2023 from Clarivate, and was named to the Stanford-Sever list as the top 2% of the world's scientists for four consecutive years. He also received the Distinguished Researcher Award for the scientific schools at the university, and the late Ali Mango Award for the scientific faculties.
