Nobel Laureate Prof. Anne L'Huillier at a webinar organized by LAMBDA Physics Group at the University of Jordan on the occasion of the International Day of Light 2025

As a part of the worldwide celebration of the International Day of Light 2025 (IDL 2025), LAMBDA Physics Group at the University of Jordan (UJ) is pleased to organize a public webinar, hosting Prof. Anne L’Huillier (Professor of Atomic Physics, Lund University, Sweden, and Nobel Laureate in Physics 2023), to deliver a talk titled Attosecond Light Pulses for Studying Electron Dynamics. The talk will be followed by a conversation on her personal journey, scientific vision, and thoughts on physics outreach.

This event will celebrate the International Day of Light (IDL 2025) and the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ 2025)in conjunction with the 10-Year Anniversary of LAMBDA Physics Group at the University of Jordan and the 60-Year Anniversary of UJ's School of Science.

You are cordially invited to be part of this event by meeting and interacting with a Nobel laureate to explore some of the key steps in the field of attosecond science, starting with the generation of high-order harmonics and continuing with the measurement of attosecond pulses.

The webinar will be held online on Microsoft Teams on Friday, 16 May 2025, 3:00 PM Amman time (GMT+3)and Prof. Hanan Sa'adeh will be the webinar's moderator.
