It is expected that students completing this program
will be able to:
(1) Reads and analyse published scientific research
and develops the skills necessary to conduct authentic research.
(2) Publishes new results in specialized journals or conferences,
individually and jointly with others.
(3) Communicates with mathematical and statistical
ideas clearly in writing and verbally with peers in the specialty.
(4) Formulate
mathematical and statistical problems efficiently, modelling and solving them
theoretically or numerically using technology tools.
(5) Continue to acquire the appropriate mathematical
and statistical knowledge and skills for professional practice in mathematics
or statistics.
(6) Links ideas and knowledge between the different
branches of mathematics.
(7) Abide by the ethics of the profession in
accordance with the national rules and standards, and exercise his rights and
duties within the value system of society and ethics of the profession, and
the rules of practice.
(8) Design and apply quantitative and qualitative research in
scientific investigations related to mathematics, thesis preparation and publication of scientific papers in
peer-reviewed journals.
