    1. Apply efficiently basics of mathematics, chemistry, physics, and biology on the Earth processes.
    2. Outline, apply and integrate a broad range of fundamental concepts in basic areas of Earth Sciences such as: Minerals, Rocks, Stratigraphy, Structural Geology, Geophysics, Geochemistry, Petroleum Geology, GIS, Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology, and Earth processes
    3. Utilize standard laboratory equipment, modern instrumentation, and classical techniques to carry out experiments, appropriately record and analyze the results including the use of graphs, error analysis and computational techniques related to the different fields of Geology.
    4. Adhere to the proper procedures and safety regulations during laboratory and field work.
    5. Outline broad concepts in scientific research methods and ethical principles of scientific research and be able to write research proposals.
    6. Communicate and disseminate clearly and effectively in both written and oral forms.
    7. Utilize information and communication technology in accessing databases in Geosciences.
    8. Employ team work skills and team-based learning strategies.
