timing and number of credit hours:
Once
credit hour, compulsory, seminar course, where a student choose a scientific
article, or a group of articles, discussing one topic and student prepares a
seminar presentation in front of his/her peer. The student enrols in the class
during their last year of study.
Two
credit hour, elective, research course, where students are allowed to enrol
upon department’s approval and having a GPA higher than 3.0. Students join the
research group of a faculty member in the department for one semester and
conduct a short research project to have hands on experience in research
practices in scientific research laboratories.
