Medical Physics is an important field for the application of physics in medicine, either the application of ionizing radiations (X and Y rays,  β+,β , α particles , Electrons, Protons and Neutrons), or nonionizing radiations, laser, infrared, microwave, in addition to the application of nuclear magnetic resonance and ultrasound waves.

Some fields of work:
1. Hospitals (diagnostic X-ray, nuclear medicine and radiotherapy).
2. Radiation protection and nuclear research, Jordan Nuclear
     Regulatory Commission and Jordan Atomic Energy Commission.
3. The institutions that use the radioisotopes and X-rays for different
    purposes, especially those that employ the nondestructive testing.
