In this paper, we treat the problem of existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for an interesting differential equation in the field of population dynamics. This is the Nicholson's blowflies fractional differential equation with delay using Schauder's fixed point theorem. Moreover, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.
