LAMBDA Physics Group​ at the University of Jordan (UJ) is excited to join the worldwide celebration of the International Day of Light (IDL 2025) by sharing this presentation about the father of laser (Theodore Maiman). In this six-minute video, undergraduate physics student and LAMBDA active member, Reem Saif, will give an insightful presentation, highlighting one of the most transformative inventions in science, the laser, and the physicist who brought it all to life, Theodore Maiman.

By publishing this 6-minute presentation on 16 May 2025, the LAMBDA Physics Group aims to ignite a spark encouraging other UJ students to participate in the upcoming activities that will be held afterwards in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the LAMBDA Physics Group at the University of Jordan, in conjunction with the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ 2025) and the International Day of Light (IDL 2025).
