Chemistry
department offers a program that leads to M.Sc. in science (thesis program);
this program covers the following main streams: (organic, inorganic, analytical,
physical, and industrial chemistry).
The
program requires finishing 33 credit hours: 15 hours core courses (obligatory),
9 credit hours (elective), and 9 credit hours for thesis work. The program
requires the student to obtain a minimum C+ in all courses and minimum average
of 3.0
Number
of students enrolled in this program is 50-60 students, supervised and taught
by about 35 faculty members who obtained their PhD degrees from top
universities worldwide, and is supported by 25 employees. Fully equipped modern
labs are available to the program students.
In addition, the
program covers various theoretical and experimental aspects in main divisions
of chemistry.
