Students graduating from the Msc Medical Physics programme will be able to:
· Develop knowledge in concepts and theories of radiation physics, radiation therapy, diagnostic radiation, nuclear medicine and other areas in medical physics.
· Develop knowledge in radiation instrumentations (detection, and measurements) and dosimetry.
· Develop skills of handling radioactive materials.
· Evaluate radiation safety practices and ALARA involved in both diagnostic radiology (imaging) and radiation oncology.
· Have practical knowledge in radiotherapy (treatment planning and procedures), diagnostic radiology (MRI, CT, US), and nuclear medicine as part of their practical training. |
