This program consists of 33 credit hours distributed as follows:
1. Compulsory courses: 24 credit hours.
2. Elective Courses: 9 credit hours.
The program was initiated in order to prepare students who are able to peruse their higher studies in nuclear physics, or become part of the work force necessary for the regulatory and atomic energy commissions. The compulsory courses cover areas of basic nuclear knowledge that enables students to choose the more oriented elective courses pertaining to specific fields in nuclear physics.
