The main objectives of the Department of Geology are to cover all branches of Geology and give students the portunity to utilize the scientific knowledge that they acquire in describing geologic maps and solving geologic problems through intensive field trips Jordan Rift for both graduate and undergraduate students.
The teaching process is being served by 17 faculty members who are in continuous contact with each other and the industry through executing research and social activities.
• PEO-1 : EAG program graduate are expected to be creative
and responsible professionals leading a successful career in academia and/or industry.
• PEO-2 : EAG program graduates are expected to communicate with peers and society to raise awareness and provide innovative solutions to contemporary problems and challenges.
• PEO-3 : EAG program graduates are expected to adapt to
new developments and technology and disseminate the concepts of continuous learning and modernization.
