Course Description :Prerequisite: 0344363 A comparative study of the differences and similarities in the functional processes of animals at selected levels of phylogeny with an emphasis on physiological variation and how different species use different physiological strategies to achieve the same body function. It will includes also the molecular and cellular bases for physiological regulation, bioenergetics as well as the functions of the major body systems such as respiratory, excretory, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, haemopoietic, endocrine and nervous systems.
